Few days ago, I grabbed the chance to unwind and free my mind from all the 'noises' around me. Oh well, I escaped from Manila to visit my cousin and relatives in Calamba, Laguna (where our National Hero, Dr. Jose P. Rizal was born). This is the best choice a person can make if all his work load keeps piling up. But not in my case tough since I combined business and pleasure ^-^ Thank you, Lord.
Actually, the main reason why I went to Calamba was to get my gown since its my cousin's wedding on Thursday and I'm her bridesmaid (I guess this is my first time). But I have decided to stay a little bit longer, so much longer that I even slept over with them. My cousin, Donna and I visited the house wherein my newly-wed cousin and her hubby will stay right after their wedding. The good thing about this so-called 'vacation' aside from keeping our family relationship even closer, I also helped my cousin about her investments. And that's the business part of my overnight vacation :D
But I also had the opportunity to discover the 'Secret Garden of Calamba' with my cousin, Donna. She just named it that way to not reveal the place's real identity, hehe. I love how they decorated the place. They have a very relaxing ambiance.
...and Christmas is just around the corner.
We took photos all over the place since we can't believe that this place exists in the heart of Calamba. Ohh, I just love the flowers...For photo purposes, I placed the hibiscus on my left ear but they said that if you are still single, you should place it on your right ear. Tama ba?
